Data Deletion

Chromono requires no account, and your photos and videos are never sent to the operator's servers. As a result, there is very little data that would need to be deleted. This page explains what is stored and how you can have it removed.

How to request deletion of your data

Send an email with the subject "Data deletion request" to:
chromono.app@gmail.com
In the message, include your device name (e.g., Pixel 8) and roughly when you used the app, so we can locate the relevant data.
We will delete the identifiable data and reply with the result within 30 days of receiving your request.

What you can delete yourself, right now

The following is stored only on your device, so you can remove it without contacting us.

Works in the app's "Recent works": open a work and tap "Delete" to remove it from your device.
Works saved to your gallery: delete them from your device's Photos app.
All app data: uninstalling the app removes everything stored on the device (works, settings, and the cached purchase state).

Data types deleted or retained, and retention periods

Photos and videos (before and after editing)	Only on your device (never held by the operator)	Deleted immediately when you delete it in the app or uninstall. The operator holds no copy.
Usage analytics (app launches, screens and features used, purchases, device type, OS, approximate country)	Google Analytics (Firebase)	Deleted upon request. Even without a request, it is automatically deleted within 14 months at the latest, per the Firebase retention setting.
Crash and diagnostic information (error details on a crash, device/OS state at that time)	Firebase Crashlytics	Deleted upon request. Even without a request, it is automatically deleted after about 90 days.
Device / advertising identifiers	Google Analytics (Firebase)	Deleted together with the analytics data above. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
Purchase record (Chromono Pro)	Google Play (managed by Google)	Purchase records are held by Google Play and, due to legal and accounting requirements, cannot be deleted by the operator. For refunds, please see Google Play Help.

Note
Analytics and crash information do not include details that directly identify you, such as your name, address, or phone number. For that reason we may be unable to locate data matching your request; if so, we will let you know in our reply.
